hi still finding my way around the minti web sit with a little help from my 16yr old daughter jess. well jess is of to live with my parents next week in canberra,i will miss her cause she helped me with her brothers. teenagers are difficult an she was clashing with her stepfather which as causing a lot of tension. I just want her to be happy. she will come back an vist in school holidays.this is a great web sit love meeting new friends.

Hi, just thought I'd share something about myself, I live in a small town on the Vic/Nsw border, Mallacoota.  I am a single stay at home mum, with three children 8,6 and 4. I love writing and Internet. I'm glad I've found this site to meet other people who shares the experience of raising children. Hope to talk to some of you soon.

 Hi Everyone

I am a new member.  I am a mum of three who lives in the Western Suburbs of Brisbane. I wanted to get your feedback on an interchange I had at McDonalds in Kenmore yesterday. I was breastfeeding my youngest girl ( 10 months) while my other children had their lunch and a fifty year old woman walked past and said under her breath- "Cover up for god's sake". I was stunned. I have breastfed all my children and never had anyone publicly say anything against it.  I calmed down and then approached her and her male friend/partner. I said quietly and calmly that I had felt angry when she said what she said. She said "Good". I told her that I felt that women in Australia need support when it comes to breastfeeding and that while I would not be put off by her comments I felt that if she had said it to a new mum - the new mum might stop feeding and that would be bad for mum and bub. They told me to "Bugger Off"  My kids go to Brisbane Independent School in Pullenvale which is very supportive of breastfeeding ( its a great school in many other ways as well@@!) -but I wanted to find out whether other mums have had similar situations and how they have handled it

Hi there,Im Danni and Im new on this site, which so far im loving it. Im 19years old and have daughter who is 5months, Indiana. Im looking foward to chatting to everyone, as i find this site to be rewarding,especially for advice. My baby forgot her manual..so she can be hard to understand lol. I have just moved from the Gold Coast,Qld into a small town off Kingaroy in Qld. Which i may add it is a huge change from leaving the beach to just a dry land. So who ever lives on the beach think of me please haha  Well hope to talk soon

Hi all, Sorry I havn't been on, been going quietly insane lol. Listen, I'm not so grat at making friends, but I would really love my daughter to have some socialisation and interaction with other kids. I also need some adult interaction, I believe it's been months since i've talked to anyone in person. If anyone here is from Toowoomba QLD, or may be passing through, or making a day trip here, I would love to have you over, to be honnest it's easier for me that way lol. I have a swing set and a little pool and also a BBQ, I really need to get to know some people. My marrage isn't good and to be honnest It would be nice to just have some contacts around. I'm not saying you have to love me at first sight lol, just something that adds that bit of outside contact in my life.
